Review on πŸ”Œ Cuisinart JK-17 Stainless Steel Cordless Electric Kettle, 1.7 Liter by Andrew Burnside

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Tried three; all flow

This is the second one I've bought (first from Target, second from Revain). Both lick water from below. Almost every time you remove the kettle from the base after boiling, water will remain on the base and the bottom of the kettle will leak. Sometimes there is a considerable amount of water; enough to wipe it off. This is all a joke. I figured the first one must be an anomaly so I got another one from Revane. The second came on 23.07. (now 24.08.) and like the last one drips at the bottom edge. So just a month of use for fifty dollars. I wrote to Cuisinart, simply warning them of their design/quality issues and saying I don't need a replacement. They didn't review the items I made, they just suggested a replacement. I finally decided to try a replacement and the one they sent leaks as well. So those are the three I tried, three leaks. Rather than wasting your money on this, I recommend something like the RevainBasics Portable Fast Stainless Steel Electric Tea & Coffee Kettle, 1 Liter, Silver. Yes, it has less power than this one, but it doesn't leak.

Pros
  • Kitchen & Dining
Cons
  • Cord shorter than others
