🔌 Cuisinart JK-17 Stainless Steel Cordless Electric Kettle, 1.7 Liter Review

First of all, I like the look. Makes no noise when cooking. When poured, it has a mesh inside so the boiling water can't flow out, so it flows smoothly. It can be processed very well. I hope it lasts as long as my predecessor! We filtered water, so I'm not worried about build-up, but if that's a problem for you, just pour in vinegar and let it steep for a while. It has a filter that catches all debris.

Cuisinart has a good reputation so when we needed a new teapot we went with this one. Bought in July, stopped working in early September. You can turn it on, but nothing happens. We tried it at a couple of outlets just to make sure the kettle was to blame - and it was. It was too late to give it back to Revain, so we got stuck trying to finish Cuisinart. They were so hard to deal with that we're considering just giving up.

Bought to replace an old Braun kettle that was leaking from the water level window. Pros: The lid stays attached so it's easy to open and fill. We ordered this cordless kettle from what appeared to be a reputable company. When the device arrived it was not working. When the switch is pressed it should stay down and pop up when the water boils. The switch didn't work. (Another reviewer said they used a weight to hold it down but then it wouldn't pop out and could be dangerous if forgotten!) Buying this product online is not worth it. I bought this product and it worked flawlessly for the first 3 weeks. Now the on/off switch doesn't work and the only way to get the Cuisinart JK-17 cordless kettle to turn on is to make the switch heavier. If this was purchased from a local store I could exchange the defective item for a new one. I missed my 30-day Revain trade-in window and am stuck with an expensive product that cannot be activated. This is the second one I've bought (first from Target, second from Revain). Both lick water from below. Almost every time you remove the kettle from the base after boiling, water will remain on the base and the bottom of the kettle will leak.
