Everything looked good from the box. The instructions don't say which fuse goes in which hole, it just says to put the correct fuse in the correct slot. Which is what? Who knows? Eventually I found a permanent "on" fuse socket and went to route the cable, only to find after much hassle that the 90 degree bend in the power connector where it plugs into the camera was in relation to the Connector is bent the wrong way -into slot. The bend in the wire on the plug bends into the mounting bracket and they cannot coexist. You can either have a constant power supply and no windshield camera mount, or you can have a mount and no constant power supply. Aggravating. I have no idea why the connector end has a kink in the first place. It has to be straight. Bad weather prevented me from installing it until the 3 week return window closed. When you buy this device, make sure and check if your camera's window connector and suction cup are compatible.
