Advantages: - The size of the pads is perfect for table chair legs, kitchen chair legs, side table legs, living room chair legs and small legs of our sectional table, will not damage them and leave no residue, stick well on smooth and rough wood surfaces and plastics. We've even added a little square pad to the side of our stainless steel dishwasher to keep the cabinet door from banging against it when both are open! If you have a decent dining or kitchen table, chances are you have 4 seats that need one rug instead of two. So we had to buy two packs instead of one. We easily found use for the extras, but it would still be nice to get what we need for our dinnerware in a "set" of these pillows, rather than shelling out money for another set for just two extra large pillows, which we have UPDATED as of 4/24/2020 I would still say that these are definitely a must buy for anything that is basically stationary furniture. However, anything that moves frequently, such as the legs of kitchen chairs, is not a good long-term solution. We have these on 8 chairs in the kitchen. I had to replace them all because they just fall out after a while. Finally, after going through the second round of replacements, I just glued them to the chair legs. Not exactly the best solution, but it exists. A bit disappointed that it hasn't gotten better over time.
