I have a Trek 1.2 and due to the oversized frame it is extremely difficult to find quality lamps to match. Out of the box it's solid and well built with the right instructions for use. To attach to the bike, you need to remove the screw from the base unit, adjust the metal part on the bottom, and then insert the screw. I had trouble getting the base back in place towards the end of the adjustment layer, but with some effort it worked. Once on the bike you can adjust the incline on the middle lane and the direction left/right of the main lane. This is important because I attached it to the vertical bar on the handlebars and angled the horizontal bar so my light attaches directly to the front reflector. The pole is very sturdy and matches my lighting so I can position it in the best spot. I see some uses for it and may get another one for the seat. This is a great product.
