I just got this Roomba second hand (didn't work). Anyway, I found it had error code 5 after playing around with it for a while - same as the other reviewer. I've never owned a Roomba so all I can say is that people have stated that their original battery lasted 3 to 4 hours, although that may be true, the iRobot website even states it lasts about an hour and then it takes about 2 hours to charge its battery. I fired it up three times to try it out, and a charge time of less than two hours and a run time of 90 minutes seemed to be the norm. I have mostly hardwood floors so I don't know if it makes a difference compared to carpet. I can't comment on how the battery is doing over time, but if it stays that way for a while I'll be thrilled because an hour to an hour and a half of Roomba is all I can do. So less than 2 hours charging time. 90 minutes of running on hardwood floors with carpets. It's a cheap replacement battery and feels like it's early Christmas here.
