I love these shades! They rise and fall so gently. I open and close the curtains every day with no problems. Now I've bought 8 pieces and only one didn't fit, which leads me to suspect that the problem is with the surface and not the glue as some say. A few tiny nails hold it in place. There is one reviewer who gave instructions on how to trim properly because it seems a lot of people didn't read the instructions that came with it (that would be me!) and got the shade mixed up. Directions are very important! Most importantly, when the width is 29 inches, cut along line 29 on BOTH ends. I assume the pull mechanism should be in the middle. There are a few more things, so be sure to read them.
