Has had trouble scanning some barcodes

Glad to see what this scanner can do. Very disappointed. This device has serious problems scanning barcodes on a white background. This is especially true for barcodes on round bottles like wine bottles. Small barcodes on mini bottles. Forget it. After you "fall asleep", it takes a few pulls on the trigger to "wake up" this thing. Not great in a retail environment where a quick check is required. Also, it beeps multiple times when just sitting there and not being used. Not a big problem, but annoying. I will return mine.
