Just bought a 120v to 12v adapter, no compressor. In general I'm happy with it so far. Pro: Very useful in store; uses it to test and change flash patterns on 12v bulbs and to charge a 12v device. Looks well made and should last a long time. Cons: It is written that it is protected against overcurrent, but I'm not sure how it works - does it turn off and then automatically reset? No fuse or circuit breaker reset. If there was a user manual for the adapter I lost it so it would be nice to post the manual on the Violif site. Also, I would have preferred to have paid a little less and not gotten a UK power cord.
