For a starter this welder is a great investment. There are several problems: the switch seems to slow down and the welder does not turn off, but the seller replaces the welder with a new one. I've found this to be due to a cheap switch that also slows down when replaced, so I recommend that you just plug the light switch into an outlet. Turning off the power is easier than ordering a new one every time it slows down. Also, this is a great IV welder, has welded 1/8" angles with 7018 and 6013, and the heat of the Texan sun makes me quit before the welder overheats (about an hour) as winter approaches. I really want to test this welder. So far every IV seen video about this welder, no one could walk this welder long. That's saying a lot considering this welder rivals my grandfather's old Lincon 220 welder. I haven't tried walking it on an extension and welding it by tying it to my shoulder as shown in the picture. So if you are a beginner or a professional looking for a cheap welder that is easy to carry, e.g. B. for a welded wire fence, I recommend this welder. The IV has had mine for a few months and I would buy it again.
