Very happy with looks and build. The structure was a bit strange. I understand the book wasn't really needed, but the pieces were signed on paper, not the pieces themselves. It wasn't hard, just a little hassle. My biggest problem is that a set of 4 or 6 screws came loose very quickly. The screw went about 3/4 into the tree and within a second the screw was ripped off. After this happened to the first one I made sure I was using the correct bit but they still all came out with the screw only about 3/4 of the way out. It didn't affect the finished product (still looks great), but it did make me afraid that other parts wouldn't fit or that I'd have trouble building later.
