This is a review of Ninja CFP301 DualBrew Pro Specialty 12-Cup Drip Maker with Glass Carafe, Single-Serve for Coffee Pods or Grounds, with 4 Brew Modes, Frother and Separate Hot Water System, Black I had a previous Ninja Coffee Maker Hot + Cold is now available for almost 2 years. We liked it and it still works great. The reason I bought this coffee maker is that not only does it brew freshly ground coffee, it also brews coffee with K-cups. This is really brilliant technology. Whether you want to brew a cup, travel mug, half or full cup of coffee, simply remove the K-Cup adapter, insert the #4 paper filter into the filter basket, add coffee and brew. I love that you can make just a cup of coffee or a coffee pot. If you want to use K-cups, just put the adapter back in place and then you can use K-cups to make a cup of coffee. chocolate, tea or for preparing soup stock. Brilliant technology here too, as the hot water exits through a separate water outlet so that it is in no way flavored with coffee. There's a hot plate to keep your coffee pot hot and you can set the time in 15 minute increments. up to 4 hours. The default value is 2 hours. Or you can switch off the heating plate completely if you wish. I also like that you can swing the water tank from the side to the back, which greatly reduces the width of the coffee maker and takes up less counter space. This grinder has few disadvantages. The two points that need to be made are as follows. This coffee maker cannot use reusable K-cup adapters. The drip stop is not automatic like the previous Ninja I had. Instead, you have to trigger a drip stop manually. love love love this coffee maker.
