If you watch my video you will see that in some cases these plates are for single use only. I washed some with warm soapy water because I used palm leaf plates to serve the hot melted chocolate dessert. They warped a bit after drying. However, the ones I used for snacks, peanuts, and potato chips I can use over and over again. I wiped the panels with a damp cloth, dried them and they held their shape. These plates are very durable and will not bend under the weight of the food. I have never owned palm leaf cymbals and am impressed with their durability. However, expect some deformation when you wash, dry and reuse them.
