Well done and gossip. It's not about whether I like the nest, but whether the bird likes the nest. I have a male canary who has developed a habit of sleeping in his food bowl if I don't cover his cage when he goes to bed. The bird likes to sleep in a cozy corner of the cage and snuggle up to it. If I don't cover the cage to give him his cozy corner, he jumps into his food dish. And he does not jump into his nest and press everything fluffy to the pole. Does he need a nest? NO, but its owner likes it. Yes
