Review on 🚴 JGbike Elite Round Oval Chainring 104mm BCD - Narrow Wide Single Chainring for 8-12 Speed MTB XC Trail e-Bike Fat Bike Mountain Bike Bicycle by Richard Turner

I've wanted to do a 1-speed conversion on my mountain bike for a long time and thought I had to go the RaceFace route. I prefer quality over quantity so I hesitated to buy this JGbike. There are many brands of cheap sprockets out there, but JGbike seems to be one of the few that deals exclusively with bike parts and doesn't just stick their name on cheap sprockets to get into the market. As far as actual use goes, it works, and it works very well. I have NOT had chain drops and I don't run for chain guards. The wear looks normal as the teeth work well with mileage. Just for context, I installed this on my hardtail, which is my secondary device. Therefore, it is mainly used with a child bike trailer on the road. I took it to the trails and it still worked well, but it doesn't get the stable demanding shifts and torque loads of mountain biking. Having said that, I have to say that having a trailer and a kid towed will definitely add weight and still constantly stress the drivetrain and the chainring will perform excellently in these conditions. Overall I highly recommend it, I don't see what else RaceFace has to offer and I think even if this JGbike wears out faster will it wear out 3x faster? Because there is a price difference. Well done JGbike for providing a great product at a great price!
