Review on 📦 Awclub Clear Distribution Protection 160mm x 120mm x 95mm by Mark Morrow

Not a heavy duty box but will fit anywhere that doesn't involve physical exertion. I'm a bit worried that the stress from the smaller knockouts might break the ring for the larger sizes, but I haven't really seen that. At first I thought the lid only opens 45 degrees due to the strong latch - push it further and it pops open a little over 90 degrees and stays there. Rock it up and down a few times to smooth out the latch. The mini PLC is fine as it is. Post subject: The open/reset lever on some (most? both I've tried) hits the closed lid when operated. I clipped a ground strap under the GFI lever to demonstrate this - the snap cap flexes and does not seal when it hits the lever at its top pivot. I don't think the cover is strong enough to stop the shifter, but I'm not going to rely on that hunch. - the one supplied with the kit made from thin steel with slots on each end although it is the same size as pictured) can be cut off just enough to solve the gap problem. This will deepen the SPS a bit though, so choose one or the other. The real solution for the manufacturer is to add a bulge to the lid.
