I bought these bulbs to replace some existing 5" bulbs (note there are currently only a few manufacturers making replacement LED panels that are tiltable - I need these because the ceiling is sloped - and will fit, either 5" or 6" can be used in this case) - about 20 years ago I replaced faded bezels with directional "eyeball" bezels and they look fantastic in comparison. They are very easy to install - the only problem is that on a 5" can the wire fitting extends to the sides making them a little tricky (not impossible) to install properly - in other words they are a little tight and require a bit of fiddling - once installed they look fantastic. The second issue is that they are very bright compared to my previous 35w incandescent bulbs so I had to add dimmer switches to accommodate the increased brightness, so that's an additional cost. I think they would be great in the kitchen or over the counter where extra light is desired.
