Review on Gen7Pets Promenade Lightweight Compact Stroller by Tina Harris

Have been using this stroller for a few months now, mostly on weekends when taking my dog on the subway from Queens to Manhattan. I absolutely love this stroller! My dog is a 30 pound beagle, about 20 inches long and 15 inches tall. He used to whimper and seemed restless in his stretcher (which was quite roomy) so I didn't feel comfortable putting him in it. That's the main reason I'm so happy with this purchase. Now he's comfortable and fun in a stroller, even on a train. He can lie down and look outside and sometimes he can turn around to see me because there is a big window at the back. It can also stand up, turn around and change position for more comfort. I also like that the stroller is foldable and lightweight, which is very handy when I need to take my dog down the stairs to the train. My dog just jumps to the ground, I quickly fold the carrier (I even get the hang of folding it with one hand while holding the dog leash in the other), and then, quickly down the stairs, smack it carry to. the pram opens again, my dog jumps back in, and we take off. I also like that the wheels lock and unlock easily so he can get in and out of the stroller safely. The stroller absorbs shocks very well, so that my dog gets the smoothest possible ride. Sometimes he even falls asleep! Finally, the stroller is very solid and well built. I treated him pretty roughly, but he persevered. I recommend purchasing the Gen7Pets Stroller Fleece Pillow, also available from Revain. Gen7Pets does not sell weather shields, but I recommend the Nuby Travel System Weather Shield. I bought it from Bed Bath & Beyond for $12.99 but they can sell it at Revain. It fits perfectly and has a storage bag. When not in use, you can store it in the compartment under the stroller. I've added a photo with the weather shield. It is necessary!
