Review on Enhance Your Table Décor with Creuset Stoneware 2 Quart Pitcher in Cherry by Marcus Zimmerly

This is a beautiful pitcher; it looks great in my kitchen and even looks good with flowers. It keeps drinks cooler longer than my glass vase and gives you the ability to serve hot drinks as it's oven safe. No other jug I have can serve sangria in the summer and hot Bailey coffee in the winter. It's convenient to add hot dairy mixed drinks as there is no lid mechanism to clog or smell sour - a problem with placing hot chocolate drinks in our coffee carafe. The pot keeps drinks hot for a long time. Keep in mind that it looks like it weighs a ton when filled with liquid. I love that it's so durable, but you might want to think twice before gifting it to an elderly person or someone with limited mobility. They can be difficult to lift and control, so if it's filled with hot drinks it could be a possible burn hazard, or at least a real potential mess. I gave 4 instead of 5 stars for the following reasons. :1) Le Creuset is now made in Thailand but the prices are still as high as if they were made in France. 2) The spout could have been better designed to allow for drip-free pouring. That being said, I loved this pitcher so much I bought 2 more to have one on each table at holidays and parties.
