Review on Step Into Style: Franco Sarto Women'S Bocca Slip-On Loafer by Pat Slater

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Really a nice, classic shoe.

I've wanted these loafers for SO long, and I finally bit the bullet and bought TWO pairs. Way back when I first saw them, I think they were considerably more expensive, and it just seemed like there was always something else that took priority. Now, at a much better price, I'm so glad I finally got them. They're a true classic . look really good with tights and a knee-length, straight skirt, by the way. I first bought a 10.5M (I normally wear a 10M), based on reviews, deciding to err on the side of caution. However, I ended up exchanging for my normal size, and they fit perfectly. For your reference, I have a very high arch, a somewhat narrow heel and somewhat wide forefoot. Also for your reference, if you've seen the high-heeled version of this shoe (that's my description, not theirs), which I believe is called the "Nolan," that shoe was way too narrow for me in my regular width. This one isn't. I wish I'd been on the ball soon enough to get these in the brown, too. As for the comfort, they do have a padded bottom, not overly padded, but not so thin you feel like you're walking around on cardboard. I don't feel a lot of arch support in there, but they are comfortable nonetheless, so there must be SOMETHING in there. I can wear them all day long, no problem.

Pros
  • Great product at a great price. Much cheaper than the brick & mortar store that didn't have my size.
Cons
  • Too tight around the toes
