I was evaluating a differential repair on my 2002 Ford Explorer Sport. I couldn't believe they wanted $1200. I bought a set of rear axle bearing pullers from Neiko Tools and a Neiko slide hammer and did all the work myself. I spent less than $200 on tools and about $60 on bearings and seals so I saved over 75% on labor and now I have the tools to help my friends. Neiko tools are very high quality and have saved me a lot of time and effort. I've pulled axle bearings in the past and had broken ankles to prove it. With the right tools, it was a breeze. I can't believe I don't have a set yet. I'll never do this again without the right tool. This set contains 3 pullers that are perfect for most rear wheel models. When you buy a Neiko slide hammer, it screws into the puller ring. It only takes about 5-6 hits with a slide hammer to pull out the rear axle bearing. I was amazed at how easy the process was.
