A few days ago we had the worst ice storm of the year in the Boston area - with up to 3/4 inch of ice crusting. Within minutes this ice pick was able to smash through all the ice on my windshield and side windows with more ease than anything I've ever used (which means 4 decades). It worked way better than any of the scrapers I've used for years. Also, my wrist didn't get tired or hurt afterwards. The curved part of the scraper cut through the ice, which many friends complained about. With the rear scraper, you can easily clean. It's incredibly cheap and very durable - I was able to use it to hit ice on the wiper base - it didn't crack or scratch.
