Solid replacement/back up
Bought this for my Uniden R3, the plastic tab on the factory cable broke off so I needed a replacement fast. So far this powers my R3 fine and I have not experienced any problems. The plastic tab on this is a lot more durable than the factory cord.
- This not the smart type cord ( Non-OEM ), that is why the price is lower.Make sure to turn the car on first. Cord only works if the car is turn on. All car chargers are the same size, this is a new item, to ensure the cord enters into your car charger the first time, just press down the two silver end of the plug and insert it into your car charger, once this item gets more used you will not need to press down the silver ends. - The cups may be too shallow, causing the radar detector to fall out
