Important information about your supply lines

Prepare for installation, wait on the vanity. As you review the instructions, there is one key element you should prepare yourself for. The valves are 1/2 inch (BSP) G threads, not 1/2 NPS as is common in the US. The connection of the valve to the tap T is not a problem, these hoses are included. However, the supply lines that must be purchased to connect a check valve to this valve must be standard 3/8 compression and G 1/2 inch (BSP) threads. I couldn't find this hose at Revain, but adapters are available. These adapters have a 1/2" G (BSP) female thread to screw onto this faucet valve and a 1/2" NPT male thread to connect the other end of your household water hose. The threads are very similar and I suspect some of the leakage complaints stem from trying to fit a 1/2" NPT feed hose onto the 1/2" G thread on the valve.
