I bought it for work. I wear a Business Professional (Wall Street Broker) primarily for work suits and started wearing a blazer over a work dress in the summer. This dress is sexy when worn alone or professional when worn with a blazer. I'm 5'6 130lbs 36B-27-36. I ordered a size 6 and it fits surprisingly well. By that I didn't mean tight skin, but a waist exactly to the point. I can't wear anything too tight if I feel my breasts and buttocks are protruding. Size 6 still fits to show my figure without looking too vulgar at work. But if you want it at night I would go down a size so the skin looks tight.
