Tired of charging A LOT in a 5 minute filter change almost everywhere? I got this for my 2008 Prius and you can install it yourself in under 5 minutes for practically no cost. Never pay 120€ at the dealer again. Your CAF is located behind the glove box. To get there you need to open the glove box and leave it open to the end. Empty the glove box. If you don't, you'll be clearing the contents of the glove box off the floor when you're done changing the CAF. The next step is to look to the right side and unhook the damper. Next, push in the back of the sides of the glove box so it can fall all the way down. If you look inside you will see a tray with latches on either side. Push these latches inward and begin pulling out the tray. When placing a new CAF in the tray, be sure to follow the arrow on the filter as the air must flow in the same direction. The air flow is reduced. In case you forgot, there is also an arrow on the tray that says "Airflow". To complete the job, perform the above steps in reverse order. Insert shelf, snap into place, rotate glove box up and snap into place, reinstall damper rod, then close glove box.
