I bought this ring as a temporary engagement ring to make sure I liked the style before buying an expensive ring to match my engagement ring. It is a gorgeous style, real rose gold color and it has a decent low quality diamond shimmer in the light which makes it look pretty. Overall this is a very nice ring, true to size and I was completely satisfied with it. BUT I've only had it since May, not even a full 5 months, and the plating on the ENTIRE back half of the ring has worn off. turned off. I take good care of my rings and they are not exposed to anything other than washing my hands and applying hand sanitizer from time to time. I even take my rings off when I sleep! I know you get what you pay for and it's not expensive by any means, but I'm still incredibly disappointed. I was really hoping this ring would last a little over 5 months with only minimal wear before becoming stripped and dull on the back.
