I like the functionality of an angle. The problem lies in the locking mechanism of some of the squares produced. As other reviews have noted, the lock does not hold the square in place. This is very unfortunate because an angle could be an ideal tool for many jobs. Sixty dollars is a lot of money to spend on a tool that cannot be relied on to stay where you put it. I'm sure the manufacturer is aware of this issue as several have had the same issue. I understand that in mass production, products with defects are subject to quality control. I returned a defective square I bought and received a replacement which has served me well.
