I have bought several 1/0->4 gauge adapters and also these 4->8ga adapters. They all turned out to be fairly well made with no visible flaws or obvious burrs/machining flaws etc. The attachment threads were smooth and they held the wire in place well. The litz wire was taken over without a fight, which makes it much easier to insert the litz wire for power/ground! Other thoughts: Too bad they don't come with heat shrink tubing; had to buy this separately but it is absolutely critical if the power and ground connections are close enough together that it is likely to arc. With shrink tubing, they literally rub against each other after installation in the amplifier. If the set screw is really tight, it will *gnaw/gnaw through most stranded wire leaving "shards" of wire fragments. helps ensure a good "bite" on the wire and good conductivity, this will inevitably ruin the end of the stranded wire (if you later need to remove or reattach it) unless it is tinned well. They're pretty long. This isn't a problem on an amp with horizontal inputs, but on another amp with angled power/ground inputs these things stick out CLEARLY below the bottom plane of the amp and require "adjustment" of the mounting surface (needs a big hole in it, so they can stick out of the bottom of the amp and "stick" into the mounting surface.) This problem is made worse when you're actually screwing cables in, as they're then quite rigid and much more difficult to move around in tight spaces.
