Review on 🧥 Yukon Gear Torrington AK 1563 by Jermaine Shuster

I'm no fool, I know how to properly install axle bearings. This is junk, the bearing failed in less than 500 miles for a Ford 8.8 axle. When installing I was skeptical as the bearing is not very tight on the shaft and lo and behold the bearing is very noisy. UPDATE: Replaced culprit bearings and the noise is gone and there is no play when the tire wobbles. The axle bearing surface has been triple checked for issues and they are absolutely smooth and 100% flat. I don't know what's up with this supplier of these bearings, but others have had problems with them as well. Buy them elsewhere. I replaced it with a Timken box that has the same stock but was purchased from Summit. Avoid this vendor and all the hassle, buy something else.
