This is the second lost item finder set I've bought. None of them work as promised. However, it does have visual blinking that helps. However, if your keys or phone are in your pocket or under something, you won't hear the alarm. I ended up going back to Tile, whose software has a finder* (which you have to download from the web) that tracks the tile and tells you where it is or when you're approaching it. It should also be louder than previous versions. However, this product requires you to hold down the button to activate the beep - just a beep and a flashing light. I saw my keys before I heard them and it was a real stroke of luck.
