Not waterproof at all. Perhaps they could be called waterproof, speaking of a slightly damp surface for less than 30 seconds. Also, they don't hold onto any threads at all. My dog took about 3 steps and the bootie slipped off. I tried hard again - same result. I then used tape which worked better but ruined the booties when I took them off. I tried tape (blue) but it didn't stick to the boot very well. Then I gave up and sent them back.
