Review on McGard 65554GD Gold SplineDrive Wheel Installation Kit (M12 X 1 by Edgar Rowe

First of all before I get mad I'm not here to scold the quality of the lug nuts which I think are pretty good quality. BUT! For a set that costs about $100, all of my (gold colored) nutlocks go chrome plated. So does that lead me to believe they just sprayed a thin coat of shiny gold on the locks? The other nuts are ok but ALL 4 nut locks were gold and now they are chrome what should I do about that?! Again, for what should be great quality and let me repeat again, around $100 hence the 2 star rating.
