I really wanted to like this bag but it just isn't comfortable for me. The belt lifts up the side of my neck, pressing against the carotid artery and causing a headache. The stitching is frayed at the top edge where it hasn't penetrated the fabric. When closed, I can sew by hand, but I don't have to. My dog has legs too short (mini dachshund) for the bag so I tried a large fluffy towel folded at the bottom but it slides off the towel. She likes to just lie in it on the furniture, but carrying it is very uncomfortable. The shoulder strap is way too wide. The toggles aren't very large and I'm not sure if they stay buttoned up or if the fabric loops stay securely sewn into the seams as I know the seam allowance is so small that the sewing completely missed it in the open area at the upper edge. I kept the hard padded bottom of an old pet carrier and tried it on the bottom of the bag; it helped but there was nothing stopping them from rolling onto the side of the bag causing the weight to shift off center. She weighs only 9.9 kilos. but it seems very heavy in the pocket.
