This is a very well made, sturdy weight, that is a forty pounds. It has a metal bar holding the weights on either side and it's going to last forever. These are great for all lifting exercises and seem like the type of weights you would find in the gym. Overall, this is great investment because if you use this weight, it's an investment in yourself getting strong.

The burble came faster than expected. The packaging was appropriate for 25lb. Its was boxed wrapped with bubble wraps inside an outer box. The burble is made solid. The weights are hard rubber and the bar is made out with stainless steel. A very good product for the price and i already ordered the second one. A highly recommended product.

As you can see, they appear to be a perfect match for my pre-existing 3lb weights that I previously received as part of an order for an expensive ($1000+) exercise bike. This is a nice dumbbell that matches the listing pictures and description. I measured it 2 different ways and got 30.3 pounds, so very close to the rated weight.I'm going to break with the other reviewers and dock it one star for the high price. $2.33 a pound is too much. Shipping was delayed. Takes up a lot of space, not ideal for small homes/apartments. When i received item one side of the dumbell was loose and stillIs. Quality is not that great.

Definitely into home gym equipment and various weight configurations, this dumbbell affords additional versatility.Comfortable to grip, thanks to knurled bar, the weight is balanced and coated to prevent marring of floors etc.Have been able to incorporate a new routine, which is great!

I got the 40lb dumbbell weight to use for goblet squats and hubby uses it for one arm rows and tricep extensions. It does the job well. I haven't actually checked the weight to make sure it is exactly 40lbs, but it seems close enough to me! A good addition to our home gym.
