I called today and as it was difficult to communicate in English it took a while but he said I need internet for this to work. I stated that I thought I had bought an international "hotspot" which required me to buy data/minutes instead of an internet connection. So why do I need an internet connection for a mobile hotspot? I could see that your data expires even when not in use and that's why it says 'no internet connection'. He said the data expires every 30 days, regardless of usage. I haven't turned on the device for more than 30 days. That's why it didn't work. As it turned out, it worked when it worked, probably because I had mines available. at that time or because I had internet in the places where I was when I turned on the device.
