I bought one of these pillows before a long flight and am very glad I did. It really supports my neck and I was able to sleep on an airplane for the first time. I looked at all these unfortunates with those typical little donut pillows, with their heads bobbing sideways, and honestly I wish they had a pillow like mine. (There is another model of this pillow that I later bought - it has straps to attach it to an airplane seat and folds into a small carry bag - highly recommend for travel!). I actually bought this pillow for my mother who has neck problems and often gets pain. She often uses a neck pillow when watching TV at night, and sometimes sits for long periods. She is so pleased with the support this pillow provides; Also, the memory foam and soft shell are warm and comfortable. Excellent purchase!
