I love this brand of gel polish. This coverage is amazing because it is so pigmented. I also have black, the first layer is very dark. My only complaint, however, is that it's very runny, making it difficult to do multiple nails at once without running and clumping around the edges. In the picture you can see a dent in the black polish on my middle finger from not working fast enough and using too thick a layer. Overall, given the price, this is an excellent polish. I often use Modelone's gel polishes as a base coat for more expensive polishes (like OPI) or glitter polishes.
