After using this product for several months, my mass air flow meter failed. My car is a bit older and had about 140k when it happened so I replaced it hoping age could be the culprit. After 10,000 km the DMRV flew again. At $200 each, I decided to replace the MAF and remove this product along the way. My gas mileage went down 0.5mpg, but after 15,000 miles the check engine light didn't come on. $200 every 10,000 miles is no better than a mile or two to the gallon. Don't mess with this product.
