instructions 0 volts with ignition off and constant 5.75 volts with ignition on. This setting didn't work for me. I had to stretch the wires into the driver's door and screw them into the wiring harness that went to the lock actuator. The purple wire found was the lock, and the gray wire (there are two of them, so you'll need to check which one) is the unlock wire. I also had to drill mounting holes, others are indicated. Eventually, the slider will rub against one of the stopper rod guide pins. Had I known, I would have ground down the slide pin on the unit to increase clearance on the stock slide pins. So this device works, but sometimes I have trouble opening the tailgate and it seems that the left latch pin doesn't fully close. hope it wears off over time. For €100 I don't think that's bad.
