Tried and failed, but in the end I realized I could use the toilet seat to put the bottle down without having to be an acrobat or have longer arms. Plus the ability to hold the valve down and position it for actual use. Mine didn't lick the bottom, but mine came with instructions to shake it to adjust the ball inside if it licked. It's not small enough to fit in a purse anywhere unless they eventually sell a holster for it. Very small toilets with a low seat. I can't say yet if my technique will work on any of them, but I forgot at first, it doesn't work here. Two hands held the bottle behind my back after struggling to achieve this position. I'm glad I started using the dresser seat to take some of his weight. Now he can stand proud in my bathroom and be menacing to others. 3 stars only because it took me a while to get used to it. And if you find out for yourself, you don't have to hold the full weight of a full bottle to use it.
