Review on Hi Lift LM 100 Lift Mate Jack Base by Jeff Perez

The device is well made, I'm glad I didn't buy a cheap device. The hooks fit securely in the holes in my rim. I didn't get 5 stars because you can't change a tire with this jack and assembly. This is the most efficient way to lift a tyre/axle/vehicle, especially out of a rut etc. to fill in the ground or install a ramp, BUT it's not enough to replace a flat tire - you have to come up with a separate way to support the axle once you lift it in the air because you have to take that jig and the jack off the wheel to get the wheel and tire off the hub - jacks, bottle jacks, blocks or what anyway. Mast spacing CAN also be an issue: when the jack and wheel hooks are in place, the jack mast is about 6 inches from the surface of the hook deck (where it rests against the wheel rim). If the jack tips or wobbles, the mast can chafe and scrape any bodywork that extends 5 inches beyond the tire.
