Failed in 4 months, good for exhaust and emissions
Well this actually resolved the P0403 Check Engine Light trouble code. However, less than 4 months later I received another check engine light code P0401. Tried a few things (cleaned and checked EGR valve) and then tested it per Haynes' instructions (apply 12 volts and see if the solenoid holds a vacuum) and it didn't work. I read online that others had similar issues with this Dorman part so I bought the OEM from the dealer. More expensive, but will hopefully last longer than 4 months.
