Review on 🔌 Cisco MGBSX1 SFP Transceiver: High-Speed Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) 1000BASE-SX Mini-GBIC by Jake Larson

I ordered two of these to connect two SG-300 switches over 75m of OM-3 fiber from Ultra Spec Cables (https://www.amazon.com/gp /product/) to connect B006KSVDCK ). The fiber optic connection was very easy to set up - just plug it in and you're good to go. A thinner link is reliable when a switch is rebooted. Some reviews of other brand GBICs indicate that they may not work if the switch is cycled - the lack of any issues with this fiber connection was well worth the extra cost I paid for the Cisco brand GBICs. FWIW, I am very pleased with the Ultra Spec cables listed above for connecting these GBICs.
