Review on πŸ“‘ Original Version of Ubiquiti UB-AM Universal Antenna Mount with Improved SEO by David Fields

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Cheap devices don't seem to be made of stainless steel for outdoor use.

Ubiquity is a value for money product unmatched by carrier grade devices on the market. However, it is really inexpensive and suitable for some markets. Know what you have and think about it. The clasp is fine, but it's thin-walled metal and the clasp doesn't look rust-proof. THINK when using these mounts. Is your mount high off the ground? people downstairs or nearby? Do you experience strong winds and/or precipitation? Why am I asking? How much would it cost your company if this thing falls apart in a storm and falls on someone? Professional mounts installed by professionals will not come loose. I have been installing quality products for a long time. In some areas I use some products from Ubiquity. I've seen them fail. I saw parts of towers and buildings falling down. Three small rusty screws and a hose clamp or bandage holding the radio up to 25m high can be dangerous if broken in gusty winds.
