So far, so good. We installed these in our open plan living room. My son doesn't seem to mind being in a 'cage' and it has helped the dog not steal all of his toys. It's just starting to pull up, so I can see the light weight of the panels becoming an issue in the future. He's having a really good time with all the toys we hung on the edges. I liked not having to worry about him interfering with anything when I went to do the laundry or cook dinner. My only issue is that I sometimes find it difficult to reach out and pick up my hand as I'm short, only 5ft. My husband has no problems. The sides open fairly easily, so it's not a big deal.
