Review on Enhanced 2 Pack Faraday Bag for Key Fob: TICONN Premium RFID Signal Blocking - Ultimate Car Protector, Anti-Theft Pouch, Anti-Hacking Case Blocker by Walter Martin

stopped working Signal blocking housing protects cars with keyless entry systems

UPDATE: A year later I tested this item again and it stopped working. My car starts even though the car key is in the Faraday bag. The other, bought at the same time but only used to protect a second car key in a drawer, still blocks the key's signal (so my car won't start). Rating downgraded from 5 to 1 star. , due to the lack of durability and the need to regularly retest its effectiveness. This UPDATED TICONN PREMIUM FARADAY KEY FOB POUCH (2-pack) completely blocks the signal from my 2019 Honda Accord key fob. If the transmitter is in your pocket and in the car, the car will NOT start. Just make sure you put the key fob in the BACK pocket (the one with the white lining). The front pocket does NOT block the signal. Keyless entry systems (like those found on newer Hondas) make it more difficult to steal vehicles equipped with them. However, thieves with sophisticated technical knowledge and equipment can break into or steal these vehicles by (1) hacking the fobs with signal amplification software, or (2) intercepting the fob signal when the driver exits the vehicle by using one of the Use special equipment developed by car manufacturers. Keeping your key fob in a metal box or signal protection bag like this at all times will protect you from such thieves. (You definitely need to keep the tag in your bag, even if the tag is in your house.) Other reviewers say signal-blocking bags stop working after a while, so check your bag from time to time to make sure that she it is still works. . Is working. This bag is large enough to easily store my Honda key fob and the key fob that came with it. There is still one place left.
