Review on 🔌 Efficient Proctor Silex 1 Liter Electric Kettle: Auto-Shutoff, Boil-Dry Protection, Tea & Water, White (K2070Y) by Anthony Jagers

I bought this simple, light and cheap kettle on the 5th December 2005 and it still works great and works great almost every day! I never needed a replacement so why should I? It boils water FAST and the water stays hot the entire time (well, at least an hour or two, but you get the point). Cleaning is easy if done more than once a year and works best with distilled water. I don't use distilled water because I'm lazy so minerals build up on the heating element in the kettle, but the little filter with a spout always filtered them out of my water until I cleaned it with vinegar. In the years I've had it, there have been no electrical issues, odor, or uneven heating. I like this because I have instant hot water for tea, cocoa, cider, and sometimes instant coffee (my least favorite beverage, so freeze-dried foods work for me). I'm just buying a second one for my daughter to use in the office; she loves to take mine too often. It's easier to buy another one for their exclusive use than it is for me to heat water in the microwave. It works that well! I love mine and die for durability, office and reliability, this was SIMPLY one of the best purchases I've ever made!
