I bought this simple, light and cheap kettle on the 5th December 2005 and it still works great and works great almost every day! I never needed a replacement so why should I? It boils water FAST and the water stays hot the entire time (well, at least an hour or two, but you get the point). Cleaning is easy if done more than once a year and works best with distilled water.
