You get what you pay for - Small Flimsy Kettle

First of all, this is a very small white plastic teapot. And at $14, you can most likely expect it. However, I wouldn't buy this kettle again - it's very small, the plastic is very plastic (not durable) and looks a bit like a toy kettle. The lid doesn't close properly at the back and is very kinky lol. And I'm not sure where the filter is supposed to fit, if it goes where I think it should the lid won't close when the filter is in place. What is also most annoying is that the kettle does not have a separate socket for the mains plug. This means that you have to deal with the cable when you pick up the kettle. It seems like a small thing but it means you can't plug the cord into the rack and forget about it, every time you use the kettle the cord follows it. I don't have a lot of counter space so this is annoying. Already missing my Toastmaster teapot which has just died after 15 years of loyal service - and it only cost me $17 then - similar looks but twice the size and much better quality,
